HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

?Court No. - 33

Case :- WRIT - A No. - 9654 of 2012

Petitioner :- Km. Kamlesh
Respondent :- State Of U.P. & Another
Petitioner Counsel :- K.K.S. Chauhan,A.K. Tripathi
Respondent Counsel :- C.S.C.

Hon'ble Ran Vijai Singh,J.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents.
In substance, petitioner appears to be aggrieved by not rounding of marks given in TET Examination. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has secured 54.67 marks, whereas the last selection was made on 55% marks. This controversy has been settled by this Court in Writ Petition No. 3962 of 2012 (Abhay Singh and another Vs. State of U.P. and others), where rounding of marks has not been allowed, taking note of the fact that unless it is specifically provided by the examination conducting body or permissible under the rules, the rounding of marks cannot be done.
The writ petition lacks merit and is hereby
dismissed.
